Position Summary: CordenPharma is seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Engineer to join our Chemistry team. The successful candidate will focus on the development and optimization of flow chemistry processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to cutting-edge pharmaceutical research and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize continuous chemistry processes for the synthesis of pharmaceutical compounds.
  • Implement automation techniques to enhance process efficiency and reproducibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analytical chemistry, and other sites
  • Conduct experimental work, data analysis, and process troubleshooting.
  • Document research findings in technical reports and present results to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in flow chemistry and automation technologies.

Your Profile

Qualifications:

  • Engineer or Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with knowledge in flow chemistry and/or automation.
  • Proficiency in using automation tools and software for chemical synthesis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Out of the box thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Knowledge of French is a bonus but not mandatory.

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and optimizing chemical processes.
  • Experience with process analytical technologies (PAT) and real-time monitoring.
